We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Yeah, it costs loot. But even the free stuff (which is what I was exposed to in the beginning) is cool. But with the paid membership you get a lot more cool stuff. Thousands of very good videos, unlimited tactics, chess mentor (which is very good),etc. You don't have to get the most expensive. Even the free version like you got is good.

They should pay me for pitching their website. You reading this Erik?

Personally, I think Chess.com offers quite a lot to their non-paying members. You can play for free. If you have an I-pad or smart phone you can play on those for free. Many sites won't let you play at all without paying a fee. you get limited access to Tactics trainer.You get access to the forums. If you don't enjoy the many aspects of free membership here, you can always pony up the fee to become a premium member or go elsewhere in hopes of finding the "free" chess Nirvana you seek.....
