Decline rematch requests

Would someone help me understand why people don't decline rematch requests, if they don't want to play?

Avatar of long_quach

Too many negatives.

Rephrase your sentence.

They’re already moving on to the next game, or, more accurately, the next ad.

To long_quach, you don't understand what I'm asking?

to trunoffthefaucet, yeah but it's one click ... otherwise I'm sitting there for several minutes wondering if they are going to respond or not when I could just move on ... I just don't understand it.

Because most of the players inmediately press new game or go offline
Avatar of jeffery0812

if they go offline I understand that, but you can see that. if they go to a new game then it comes back says, player currently playing declined your request.

"decline" is a negative. It's the opposite of "incline".

You are using double negatives.

That's a joke.

But the statement stands.

What you are saying is:

Why people do not not accept rematch . . .

Can someone please not explain why people don’t decline rematches when they didn’t not want to play

Avatar of long_quach

@FavelaSwag

Sounds like English is your second language (ESL).

the joke flew over ur head, ur sense of humor is unmatched

For me the question seems very strange. Personally, I don't like to play few games with one rival, because games can repeat in this case, and it's boring.

Avatar of jeffery0812

the options are to decline or accept long_quach

Avatar of jeffery0812

leonidsivachev - I understand that, so when you get a request do you decline it or just leave the person that made the request to wait and see if you will accept?

Nobody is obligated to accept your rematch offer.

It’s not worth it. I used to accept these requests until one day when I crashed one guy and accepted his request for rematch out of pity. In the rematch game I blundered and the guy immediately insulted me :) Never rematch again

Yeah. It happens to me as well. Your opponents tend to insult you after you lose the second game. I accept the rematch only when the first game is drawn...

I once beat some guy three times in a row after he wanted rematches and then he started saying rude stuff and it messed up my next game against him and I tilted away a good position. It really really isn't worth it. Now I typically only do rematches in bullet or if I have chat disabled.
