Who's to say a demon can play at all?
Houdini would probably defeat a demon, an angel, or an imp. But I think a devil could give knight odds. They are really good with the classic bishop sacrifice.
So if a demon had a chance at de-throne(ing) God from his seat of power, if he could beat Houdini3 in a Chess match that was running on High Tech Technology.
