Did Bobby Fischer drive?

or would they be better off in the back seat.

...well, there are a great many reasons why someone don't drive...not just physical inability...and because we don't "see" it, that does not mean that it's not true ( I think I heard a "yes Jesus" from the religious )...

...what surprises me in Canada, is that most drivers do not obey the driving laws...or at least in Toronto...and don't even think about New York City...I was there recently, and was shocked to see people standing off the curb, in the street waiting to cross the road...and the taxis were driving like they were in the "wild west"...but here's the thing, even the cops were breaking the law...there seems to be a general feeling of "do whatever you want, and don't care about anyone else"...

In London it's other way round - pedestrians behave like it's a wild west - crossing whenever/wherever they want to.

I read this about the World Championship match in Reykjavik, Iceland in 1972

"A member of his camp, then Catholic priest Bill Lombardy, ripped wiring from Fischer’s car so he would be unable to drive himself to the airport."

Oh wow, how could I have forgotten about that.  Thanks

Did Fischer eat burgers ?

Fischer could fly like Superman, so he didn't need a driver's license. He never used deodorant, and his breath was always fresh. His favorite band was Yes, and he found television to be a pointless distraction.

hahahaha. I know it was a silly question. :)

According to this video he had trouble remembering how to get home. He would always get lost if somebody didn't take him home. If that is true then how could he drive without getting lost all the time...

Lots of people have trouble remembering routes and get lost. I have no sense of direction but I make it home eventually.

Stop trying to be dramatic and turn this into something. I'm 100% confident Fischer's driving and directional ability was completely normal, he just preferred others to do the driving.

Did you even take the time to watch the video? I just posted this and three minutes later you're posting something. The video is 13 minutes long...

TheGrobe

It now says you posted the video 18 minutes ago.  Am I allowed to post again?

iMacChess

That timer is off. I just posted it then three minutes later he replied. That's not the point, the point is Bobby Fischer was known forgetting lost on the subway, so how much more would he get lost by using a car.
