Did Bobby Fischer really die?

I heard he was in a bunker that had radioactive "stuff" in it.  If that is the case, then didn't he just get superpowers or something and the chess world covered it up for their own gain?

My opinion may be in the minority here ... but I believe that Bobby Fischer died. But I will admit, who really knows - I didn't witness this or attend the funeral. Who knows? Maybe Fischer will come out of hiding and prove that his secret chess trainning will win him the world chess championship of 2019. I feel like Fischer has done things like this before. XD
