No. It’s just 100x easier to sit at home, get good, and achieve that rating. Thousands of young players are doing it. Whereas attaining a title requires much more time, effort, money, travelling in person and reaching the same OTB rating, which is much more difficult. So it just stands to reason there are many more high rated online players.
