Oh man totally.
It's happened that I dream about a game I played, rethinking a particular line even. Sometimes I'll wake up and go check the line out to see how accurate my 'sleep analysis' was.

I dreamed about chess about two or three times, in one of them there was an actual game! It was about rematch aronian vs anand after anand's immortal game in tata steel 2012 against aronian, and i don't remember who of them played which side, but it was something with two bishops sacrefises from white to completley opening black's castled king and then having to very active knights on 6th and 7th rank, and in this position i woke up. I actually remembered it for a few minutes, but i couldn't write it because i had to go to school.
