Did you know the Queen was once called the Grand Vizier?...and was WEAKER than the king.

The King was...of course the most powerful piece a loooong time ago in Persia....but eventually the grand vivier turned into the queen and became the dominant piece. I read this in a Carl Sagan book (Billions and Billions).....this may be inaccurate so please do NOT get angry at me.
