Puzzles No Longer Showing “Puzzle Goal” On Phone

For the longest time, I have always had puzzles showing their goal (eg. win a rook, checkmate, etc) on my phone. For some of my mates theirs didn’t show on their phone cause they didn’t update their settings on PC. But now, my settings on PC have remained the same and now it is “de-synced” on my phone. Anyone had the same issue? Know a potential fix?

Glad to hear i am not the only one with this issue, on a side note, after deleting the app and reinstalling i am now able to actually manually adjust the difficulty on my phone, still no luck with the "goals" though.

I recently did I puzzle on the site, and was shocked that it told you what the puzzle was about.

See, my settings have always synced up on my phone too and told me what the puzzle was about. Granted I will say it is making me think more on my puzzles, but it is just odd that all of a sudden out of nowhere my puzzles settings have changed on my phone.
This is exhausting.

The puzzle goal is a weird anti-feature - not sure why you’d want it other than because you’ve become habituated to it, which is a bad thing…

I can definitely understand what you are saying, i do think for pure practice, yes, it is better. But with that being said, I have always had it there and it just feels odd to not anymore.
