in junior otb:

  1. your rating deviation will be higher (meaning more points gained for a winning and more points lost for a loss)
  2. Event prices are cheaper
  3. You will play players of a similar age to you

so in a month I'll be 13. does this mean I'll play someone that's close to 13 years of age?

i meant that there are junior sections in events like U18, U16, U14, U12, U10, U8 (in england i dont know about you country) which give opportunity to play players of a similar age to you
