1650 Rapid, 2500 in puzzle
Difference between puzzle rating and live chess

Seems to be quite normal. I never got 1600 in rapid and I had a peak of 2200 in puzzles, but strugle to get +2100.
900 rapid and 2000 puzzles; I stopped playing games one month ago cause I get furstrated about not really knowing what to do aat the opening phase. I found more interesting and challenging doing puzzles to improve my low skills. I will sutdy a couple openings and defenses to get back to the rapid games (I hope to see my rating easily going up for a couple hundreds)
Kaiser, try one of the free books in Chessable, called Sweet & Short. I know that everybody is saying you should not learn any openings at your level, but I don’t agree. A basic opening repertoire is very useful. Take something serious like 1…e5 or 1…ey against 1.e5, and so meme thing like 1.e5 or 1.d4 (aiming at the Queens Gambit) as white.

Right now I was reading about the english opening. I thought it could be a nice opening to play with white and easy to later adapt with a sicilian defense with black since often you end up in similar positions.

I have quite a gap, 1500 rapid (won't stay there for long) and 2400 puzzles.

nah, it i started chess in 2003, but only took it seriously in 2016 or 2017.

Really? Very strong tactical skills for a beginner! I would say you are doing something wrong in the opening or endgame. With 1900 in puzzles you should be around 1200 in rapid.

600 rapid, 1300 puzzles
