Yup !
Ding Liren was the most poisonous contender in the SCC against nakamura

i feel like poisonous is a bad choice of words
i dont feel like it is since i considered ding the only powerful and most brute forced machine with the power other than magnus to be able to take on hikaru and win so i mean it as more of compliment cause look where this man took hikaru towards, he forced armageddon and forced hikaru into places where no other SCC contendor has and that deserves lots of credit in itself not just for ding but for fans and the whole site in general as he came close to losing

Ding was strongest than Nakamura!Nakamura have big luck to win him and on time too!
Time

Every ppl says hikaru should lose
cause he kind of should have, as ding stated he was always winning and had better positions than hikaru but hikaru was just the better player by the clock and used it to his advantage against the dragon who mostly got into time scrambles and burned his clock sadly :/

hikaru's a fast chess specialist though, there's nothing wrong with winning like that, but it is kind of disappointing

That's not his fault

many things could be said but i believe nakamura vs ding was probably the most exciting and climatic matchup i was hoping to see cause lets be honest, we have seen nakamura vs wesley and many of the same bland players but we never see ding much. now pairing him against the king was what i always wanted to see and i am super glad this match was finally a dream come true cause many got to see the venomous chinese player in action
i heavily praise dings efforts as i believed he was the only person who could come close to cracking nakamura and he almost did with the score being inch and inch closer to a very deadly winner as ding forced armageddon to happen on the board. sadly it was not in the cards as ding couldnt find a good move and failed to hold the game resulting in the king barely holding his own against the amazing dragon known as ding liren in the SCC
"Of course I did not prepare [for] a tiebreak... Today's game was very tense... I had more better positions than Hikaru, but he defended well and sometimes he played very very quickly in very complicated positions. That's his skills."
