disconnect policy is absurd

I repeatedly get unwillingly resigned because of problems with the network. This is a terrible slap in the face to Caissa. S¡¡¡TOP IT!!!!

I Agree partly..........
I do think that the current disconnect policy is stupid if you disconnect for like 10 seconds you lose. But I do think it necessary to have a disconnect policy. Otherwise in rapid games, a game can go on for fifteen minutes depending on how long the time control is.  I think they need to move the disconnect for longer then one minute you auto- resign, this will solve quick problems such as accidentally deleting your browser but not leaving someone waiting if your internet disconnects.

Over four, maybe five years, I have not had a disconnection happen ONCE which would have caused me to have defeat. It was players from other countries mostly. I am pretty sure it is something wrong with either your internet or computer.

Disconnect timer is influenced by the overall time controls.
