Agreed. People need to chill,however it is quite common to associate one's self worth with the result of some mundane activity. (not that chess is mundane)

I suspect some disconnects may be due to the player not knowing how to resign, but does not wish to keep you waiting, so they choose disconnect instead.
It might help if the site sent anyone who disconnects, a message each time remarking on the proper way to resign. Or, maybe they're clicking the close webpage link by mistake.

I know that some disconnects are unintentional,but the players who disconnect instead of resign, its gutless, show some courage. Admit you lost. Even though its a win waiting, 2 minutes, when I can be playing another game, is irritating.
