I mean, isn’t that what you are supposed to do lol
I thought you were going to start pile driving the h pawn up the board.

Hmm, when? There was no pawn break for my h pawn.
I did try to play on the h file. The point of 24.Qe2 was to go to h5... when I played it I thought there's no way it would happen though. Hilariously it worked out in the end.
Yeah I know there's no break... doesn't stop people from playing it in blitz.
but again I think the attack is justified since it's a normal plan for white.
True. I was lucky they played something that lets it have at least a chance of working.
Sometimes I do this blindly and my opponent plays a sicilian and so I lose badly.
how is that a pattern, you'll get it like one out of 3000 games
Yeah, not a pattern worth remembering, just a pattern to admire.
I got it last night in a game, and was like, whoa.

Yeah, I mean, it's symmetric about the y=-x+8 axis, amiright?
It's like damn baby, you lookin' so mathematical.

hold up
how does slope work in this lmao
the opening is interesting....
d3 setups are nice in blitz. Most players have a mental block as black, not realizing they should play d5.
At least most players who aren't any good... if I were playing someone my rating it wouldn't be as easy to get away with this junk ![]()

The super nerdy thing is I knew that equation was right, and came up with it in like... less than 5 seconds.
negative slope is just rotated 90 degrees... or maybe easier for you to imagine, they teach you "rise over run" in class or something right? Like a slope of 3/4 means you go:
up 3, right 4
well a negative slope you just make one of the numbers negative. So:
down 3, right 4
or
up 3, left 4
(either way it's the same).

ah yes rise over run
7th grade memories, looking back in 8th lol.
My draw rate in blitz on this llama account is was close to 14% IIRC (it says 12 now, but I've playd a lot of friendly BS games).
So yeah, I'm usually a little more technical in my style.

After d5, if you take, it looks like a Scandinavian where you've played d3 and the opponent played d5. ![]()
Part 2 in a series of self deprecation. I decide before the game beings I'll just shove pieces in front of my opponent's king and hope it works out... and so I get a bad position and win anyway.

An unremarkable game, but funny to me because for many years I didn't have respect for players who played like this... now I play trashy blitz games and became the thing I hate heh.
