Do I have a future in chess?

Yeah, FM is ridiculously good compared to 99% of players. You may underestimate how good they are.

Not that this is the best they can do, but for example it might impress you to know 99% of them would be able to effortlessly play a blindfold game. In fact many FMs should be able to play multiple blindfold games at once.

Similarly not particularly impressive, but may sound impressive to those who don't know, an FM could easily visualize 10 moves (that is, 10 for each player, 20 ply) into the future. (Whether or not that's necessary in the position is another question of course, but if it's only about visualization it's not hard).

In fact I can do all these things myself, and in a 10 game match I might even lose all 10 games vs an FM!
