like i said i have seen many databases and caterpillars could not change into super humans.
do talented players really imagine better?

If I am not mistaken, Capablanca also didn't play blindfold chess. He thought it contributes nothing towards one's chess progress.
I said almost all GMs!! karpov,shirov,aronian,carlsen,ivanchuk,karjakin,gelfand,topalov,leko,kramnik, i can list many.
I think strong players do have strong imagines but imagination comes from doing a ton of tactical study.
Being able to play many blindfold games (visualizing well) is just a neat trick. It's the memory that's really useful. If you can play over 50, 100, 1000 games and remember many of the key positions, that's what will make you a stronger player much faster.
In an actual game it's usually not very useful to visualize more than a few moves ahead anyway.
when i look at chess database it is clear that almost every strong GM can play blindfold chess also simultineous blindfold chess. If they are able to imagine 10 boards without losing the position, i wonder what they imagine when they are thinking about any other things. i expect them to be a good artist, they should even should be able to imagine 10 naked women without forgetting how the first one looks like. are they really talented?
