I like both colors equally. As white, I launch the chess equivalent of drunken cavalry charges against black's defenses, seeking to smash my way to victory or perish in glorious defeat. As black, I enjoy inviting white to play their favorite opening, and see if I can survive to stand victorious upon the fallen heap that had once been white's army---no side stepping 1.e4 or 1.d4 here.
Give me white all day and twice on Sunday!
