Do you ever get distracted during a chess game?

Yes. Human players might not always admit it, but the answer is still "yes."
Someone talking to you? Distraction.
Day-dreaming while waiting for the opponent to move after you already calculated all of the possibilities? Distraction.
Posting in a forum while playing online at the same time? Distraction.
Okay, the last one doesn't apply to me: I am not currently in a game right now, but you get the idea. Distractions happen to us all, good chess players just get better at adapting to them and not letting distractions negatively impact their chess.
