It depends on the database you're using. In most of them, 1. c3 scores <50% for White.

1. Nf3 ftw, not because I like exotic openings, but because it allows to transpose into openings that are more favourable for White, like the Maroczy Bind Sicilian or the Catalan (or the King's Indian Attack for those who prefer it), and sidestep unpleasant openings like the Petrov Defense and the Indians.

The second best option imo is 1. d4.

I play d4 a lot but I like c4 as well.

I like c4 as English is about flexibility, but I like to change to some Indian if they play e6 instead of e5

i like d4 and e4 cause they control the center

1.)d4 2.)c4 is cheating and should be banned. Only shit patzers who rely on openings use it.

I play 1. e4, 1. d4, and 1. c4 all the time. They are  my 3 favorite starting moves. I play those moves and I rely on openings and I am not a "Patzer". I am a regular player looking to improve. 1. e4 is my main opening line though.
