I can't listen to jazz while playing chess, I stop and listen when I hear a rhapsody, and my flag falls out of nowhere. But then I think, so what? I'll win some other time.

The browser you use makes a difference. I had no luck with msn and no problems with firefox.

I always listen to music while playing chess. I honestly feel it helps the tension and enhances my performance.
Occoasionally while studying, but never while playing. As it has been proven multi tasking doesnt work.
Now I'm listening to Oscar Peterson and Dave Brubeck. Great music to listen to on an overcast day while having a bloody mary, and playing chess
