hello, i was just wondering if people play better on a real board or a mobile device/computer.

is it just me because i play better online than on a real board, is it that i can see the pieces better,

anyway comment on your preference. board or device?

JoeLovesCoco

yeah, so it does have an advantage to a real board.

and i guess i've never thought of it like that, thank you

JoeLovesCoco

is it legal in a tournament to stand up and look around the board?

Computer, or printed chess diagram of puzzle.  (light-green & olive board, standard chess dot com charcoal/white pieces)  Think better when I can see the whole problem compactly, so definitely not full screen.

Like others, prefer a real wooden board and wooden pieces, but my game suffers a little.
