White! at all times white! because the only thing i know is e4 and im lucky because thats a super common move. when im white, oh yeah e4 ftw!

Yes, I am thinking many people prefer to be White. However, some do prefer Black sometimes .... as you do not need to lead the initiative if that makes sense
Black, my style in most strategy games is to counterattack, so black works better for me. My winning percent with black is also much better than white
i like to play white
but i do like black when my opponent plays 1d4,d5 2 c4 allowing me to play e5 albi counter gambit works perfect for black
For some reason lately I have been performing better as Black. It seems I'm just more comfortable with it, and when I have White I'm always on edge... I never felt like this before so its kinda weird, not sure why I feel that.
So yeah, I guess black for me, for now.

Yeah sometimes i like to be black ... but sometimes it depends on who i am playing. They are certain players who i play against when i prefer to be white.

I am starting to like being Black although I tend to draw a lot although i draw lots as white too though ...........
After reading "black is still ok" I Actually dont care that much, I think my chances are equal. Before I would say white, mostly because of 1. e4, and the same reason for not wanting to be black.

i like to play as black. i think its b/c when i learned to play my buddy that taught me would always win and our rule was last games winner plays white, so i got more comfortable playing the black pieces.

fair enough ... and also you don't have to lead sometimes as black, white has the advantage of going first and has the added pressure of keeping up the initiative and advantage
Someone claims that black would win the "perfect chess game", because of zugsvang!
I prefer black. You get to play a defensive/couterproductive game (most of the time) and also, you get to take advantage of white's mistakes!

What would you do if white plays 1.d3? pretend that you are white and do the mistakes? (many games starts with 1.d3 2.Nf3 3.g3 4.Bg2 5.0-0, just to try to mess with black)

I think i probably prefer White but then again it depends who I am playing ....
