Help me to improve?

I don't have an official rating, but my last performance rating OTB was 2111.

Do you think this book is worth getting it?

I think it's a must read. If chess was taught in schools that would be a required text book in Chess 101. Out dated? For sure, but that man knew a lot about chess, and would be handing us a ton of pain over the board if he was still alive

Absolutely!  Remember that the second part of the book is more for advanced players. The first half of the book will make you a chess player.

That might be better

I picked it up at my library a while ago because it is one of their only chess books and I thought it was good.

Sean Godley has narrated "My System", along with playing out the examples and expanding on the ideas, in a series of YouTube videos: https://youtu.be/yLrNC9Rskww

I personally find chess books hard to digest so works like Sean's are an excellent way for me to absorb information. The book is somewhat arcane and Nimzowitsch employs a lot of his own vocabulary and terms, which are definitely arcane. However, the principles are universal and well worth reading/watching if you are serious about improving.

As an aside, I particularly enjoy and benefit from Chessnetwork's YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/ChessNetwork/featured

His "Beginner to Master" collection I found very educational: https://youtu.be/CSA9se6t82I

[Disclaimer: I have a long attention span and don't bat an eyelid at two hour long videos with verbose dialog and over explanation. In fact I benefit more from that kind of format. Just so you know.]

Anything in My System can be found in other books, Silman is a better teacher just read his books (amateurs mind, how to reassess your chess, complete book of chess strategy (Seirawan))  Much better books.  But if you really want My System, just youtube it, some guy goes over every chapter (14 videos or something) well explained with the positions.
