Depends. Most chess players peaks are somewhere between 30-40 nowadays. Which is balance between experience and still ability to calculate quite well

I’ve noticed that older players often rely more on intuition and pattern memory than deep calculation.
Do you think wisdom and experience can still hold up against the engine-trained younger generation?
Or is chess now too analytical for feel to matter?
