Maybe true
Do you think IM Levy Rozman will be a Grandmaster?

(he is a strong IM after all)
How come he is a strong IM with 2347 rating and 2421 career peak?
Currently there are no less than 67 women with the IM title that have a higher rating than Levy.

I hope so. I think on his day Levy is easily strong enough. I think his biggest issues are psychological and an insane propensity for tilt. Those are hard challenges to overcome, but none of us are qualified to comment. Not really. What do we know about chess?

I don't think he is serious about getting the GM title. It's just a publicity stunt on his part.
He would need to put an extreme amount of effort into it with small chance of success. Meanwhile, he has a job (as content creator) that he can't and won't let go in order to turn pro again.
And it would be completely pointless to get the title anyway. His followers mostly think that he has it already. That's probably because they watch a video titled "GM Levy!!!!!" every week.

Not sure if he’d even get the IM title now if he didn’t already have it, so no
That's a very good point.

All he has to do is identify as a GM. It's he/hims lived experience that matters most. He was born a GM trapped in a non GM mind.

Not that I'm aware. They changed the rules for 2700+ players so that tournaments must be registered at least 30 days in advance for it to count.
