Does a 1800 rapid player need to read the Soviet Chess Primer

Hi, I need your help, according to my profile do you think I need to read The Soviet Chess Primer ? I heard it is an excellent book that was made for the 1000-1600 Elo range, but I don't know if I am out of that range, I will appreciate any opinion
