sounds like fun but why bother. like you say, you know Stockfish will crush them.
Does anyone have knowledge on how to import an engine on Chessmaster?

I want to sit back and let 2 engines hash it out, but I am having trouble with this.
I put the Stockfish Engine in Chessmaster. Stockfish should wipe the floor with Chessmaster's mediocre engine (The King), but they draw or Chessmaster beats Stockfish.
I did some research on old threads and discovered that Chessmaster prioritizes its own engine, so when they are pondering (thinking on the other's time) the computer dedicates more resources to The King's engine. So I disabled pondering and they still keep drawing, which is b.s.
I put Stockfish in another GUI and Stockfish demolished Chessmaster... easily.
I want to be able to put Stockfish in Chessmaster so that I can watch the 2 play without having to enter the moves myself. I would also like to be able to customize settings on the Stockfish engine (which to my knowledge, only Chessmaster allows).
I also want to be able to put the Chessmaster engine (The King) in another GUI, but it doesn't let me, I don't know why.
This thread should give you a good start on your question:

Just to give you the 1-minute summary, the Chessmaster GUI can only import Winboard engines; If you want to import a UCI engine, you'll have to use a polyglot adapter between the engine and the GUI.
Also, "The King" engine won't run directly in another GUI. Ubisoft designed an OPK code into the engine that normally prevents "The King" engine from running in another GUI. You CAN get around this limitation if you're willing to jump through a couple of hoops. A better solution is that there is a patch to disable the OPK code for Chessmaster 9000 & 10th, but not for CM11. The good news is that the poster "Another-Life" was able to manually patch the engine for CM11.

True, Stockfish will destroy the Chessmaster program, but what I like about Chessmaster is the customizeable settings.
I can control defensiveness/Aggression, Positional/Material, and tons of other settings, I'd like to have fun with those. Unless I can do that on another GUI that someone knows of.

A bit of bad news for you - If you do import Stockfish or another UCI engine into the Chessmaster GUI via a polyglot adapter, the customizable settings aren't functional for that UCI engine. You'd have to set the engine's parameters within the polyglot.ini configuration file.
(In fact, I think that ANY non-Chessmaster engine that's imported into Chessmaster, whether it's UCI or Winboard, will not have functional, customizable settings.)

In that case, I guess there isn't really much of a point in doing it. If I want them to play I'll just open them in separate programs.
I was having great difficulty with the whole polyglot thing anyway, tbh.
Thanks for the help.

One of the strongest Winboard engines now is Slow Chess (ironic name, but SC will beat the pants of Chessmaster's The King). See https://www.3dkingdoms.com/chess/slow.htm
I have Slow Chess 2.6 64-bit installed in my Chessmaster Grandmaster Edition, AND Stockfish 14 using Polyglot. See https://www.chess.com/forum/view/general/chessmaster-11-add-stockfish-or-other-uci-engines
I have these 2 duke it out and it's lots of fun!
