does anyone use MacBook or Apple computer?

I play here and on the other site with a MacBook Air and they work perfectly. Hardly tax the machines at all. The new M chips are very efficient.

I bought a cheap Chromebook Acer laptop for about $100 at BJ's. It works fine for most of my needs. MS Office on Dropbox works fine.

You do need a PC computer at home, as PC is the standard language for computers.

No, I'm not a Mac or Apple person. I used to be Windows, but now I just accumulate used PCs and put Linux on them.

I expect that in the next two years, there will be a glut of old PCs that people will be ditching, due to the new hardware requirements of Windows 11.

Any computer that requires a browser and cloud services to do anything is a computer that I wouldn't want at any price, even free...

It comes built in, with no extra cost other than the purchase from the store. $100.

If you want to put your unencrypted personal files in the cloud, go ahead. That's something that I refuse to do under any circumstances.
