does carlsen have the most conservative style

Carlsen plays plenty of tactical, complicated games. Go play through a bunch of his tournament wins and you'll see. But he is comfortable in simplified positions and "semi-endgames" as well. In fact, one of the strongest parts of his game is how he finds ways to enfuse even simple positions with tension and to keep posing difficult problems for his opponents. but how does he win so many times.... even guys like kramnik aronian don't win that much and arn't as good in the endgames as magnus
