Does color effect how you play?

I seem to play better as white. Though some players play better as black. How does this work?
Depends what opening you use and time control.
I prefer white , as I'm playing alot of blitz and not many players prepared with some of the Orangutan lines I throw in them , plus time pressure so I get an advantage.
With black you need to regain tempo and with white it's the opposite, you should not loose tempo.
Frankly speaking I don't really care white , black, pink, it's all the same depends who you are playing and time control.
I am brown and have a high IQ. Color does not affect my play. Lack of study does!
I tend to have a higher score as black. Weird, right?
