Does Magnus have a girlfriend?

I could  actually use some part of my grey matter to make strong arguments, however I would lose my troll character, let my real human go out and overall feel too emotional or serious with a random internet forum.

Elubas

"and dont get my historical references dud."

That could be the case, but it doesn't seem like it would have much impact on the quality of our arguments; it would merely lead to a few miscommunications.

You've had plenty of time to express your feelings on gun control, but instead you just made a lot of insincere, incomplete comments about it instead. But you certainly had the opportunity.

But then it would seem quite hypocritical to expect stronger arguments out of me, as you did some posts ago.

BronsteinPawn

Nah, read comment 129 and realize why I will never have a serious talk with an internet user unless he is my chum.

Elubas

I thought you had things to do, anyway.

BronsteinPawn

I mean, to be honest with you I dont really care about gun control, Im not living in the U.S. and Im not the one in risk of getting shot by a crazy mentally disabled stranger, I am just in risk of getting shot by a narco, but I would need to be in the wrong business for that to happen.

At the end of the day I can just grab a cup of water, turn on the news, see there was another mass shooting, think how stupid pro-gun people are and go back to ChessTempo.com

Elubas

Anyway, it seems like you do have the ability to make some interesting contributions, like you did on the first 4 pages or so. I thought those were more interesting than your outright trolling the past couple of pages. Sure, some trollers are good, but they're usually not good at much else. You, you could have been something more.

I have a flexible calendar. Im my own boss, baby.

If I see the opportunity to troll I WILL TAKE IT.

So in other words, put very little thought into your position and then proceed to be authoritative with that position.

Oh come on dud, dont try and  cure my trolling with that "you could use that brain for something better".

I can probably use that baby inside my head in real life, not in an internet forum.

To be honest with you guys I just feel really sad for Erik, he is arrogant , and will probably die from a heart attack if he keeps eating meat, however I decided that watching adds and clicking them for him was a good action from my part.

Just like life should work.

Dont wait to be ruled, RULE THEM FIRST.

Whether it would help or not, it was a genuine compliment, actually. You just don't believe that someone on the internet could do that! :)

BronsteinPawn

Ok, too much trolling for today.

Be sure to read twice my troll comments and find my true humbleness on them, I should probably go to sleep now.

GRITINGS FOR EVERONYE, HAVE A NICE DAY/KNIGHT.

Elubas

Have a horrible day!

I have heard about you, even seen you before (when I was active in the tactics trainer, I think I saw your comments frequently) and thought you were pleasant and insightful.

What derailed you to this?

LogoCzar

Perhaps it was sarcasm?

LISTEN BUDDY, LISTEN CHUM CAUSE BELEVE ME I GOT SOMETHING TO SAY.

Your wish came true. We had a horrible day. BUT ONLY BECAUSE YOU ARE HERE.

let me rephrase that it might have sounded a little harsh.

DAYS THAT ARE HORRIBLE ONLY ARE HERE BECAUSE YOU EXIST

whoops must have put caps on.

How long till you are muted?

LogoCzar

Especially with some of the forums you have posted :)

Yes. The typical phrase is "Have a nice day!" but I thought, what if I said have a horrible day instead? :) Also keep in mind it's BronsteinPawn I was replying to, not anyone else. Thanks for the compliments by the way, I'm glad if they've helped.

Hehe, I thought of an interesting argument against gun control just now. Which is that, maybe if the perception of safety was much higher without gun control, that could be a fair positive for having no gun control. Even if this perception of safety was false! Because I could argue, if a person perceives that they are unsafe all of the time, even if they actually are not, it will reduce the quality of their life. If they wonder if a friend of theirs they pissed off might jump into their house (and thus want a gun to protect from them), that might be an irrational fear, but it still affects their life. Their life is worse because they are fearful and have to worry.

I don't know all the stats on whether there are more killings with or without gun control (it may vary from region to region as well), but if the amount of killings were only slightly larger without gun control, then one could argue that the increased perception of safety makes up for it. It doesn't matter whether it's rational or not because we just want those feelings to be good. Feeling safe, or maybe more specifically, feeling like we are in control, can be a big part of enjoying one's life.

We know that killings aren't the only thing we care about. For example, it's possible that outlawing alcohol would reduce the amount of killings, but even if it did, it would piss tons of people off and damage the economy, which might not be worth the lower statistic of killings. The point is there is not just one factor we need to consider in this kind of decision, and practically any decision in general really.
