I'm just curious if he is a high school dropout like Magnus Carlson or he just gets home schooled.

Carlsen took a 1 year break.

Since Carlsen is a GM, I believe it reasonable that his bio would be sought out by more than would the OP's.

Wiki says he finished at a sports school. Whatever that is.

Personally I don't think it's very important. Not sure about Norway, but at least in United States you can graduate without learning much.

Haha, yeah, in fact I would have actually made the opposite point, I thought it was pretty cool that he knew he didn't need it :) And it's true, he really doesn't.
