Does your chess nick name have a History? tell...
The word dashkee is a Navajo word, pronounced dah-sh KEE (and spoken like ahh CHOO), which (I was told ) means white man. In 1994 in Gehring, Nebraska, the group of Navajo that was with us went through a ceremony where I was adopted by them and they called me brother. It was a little shocking to me, as I had no idea they were thinking of anything like that, so in their honor I have taken the name dashkee94.
When I was born, my parents chose the name Kyle because they liked the sound of it. By social convention, they gave me two more names (known as middle names) and a final name that is the same as their final names.
My chess nickname is that name they chose for me, plus the initials of the other three names. Crazy, huh?
I was hardcore trashed, and slurred a word I thought was intriguing; I then spent a few minutes trying to spell it out. And thus, here we are!
Klinkhammer is the name of a ridiculously effective fly pattern used in FlyFishing. Another sport I'm passionate about.
Siamese Dream is probably my favorite album of all time by the Smashing Pumpkins, the greatest band ever IMHO. So my name, then, is a not-so-clever play on the album name :)
MontyII is a very talented 5 year old orange domestic short-hair cat. Before him, there was MontyI, with me just 2 years.

When I saw trysts had posted, I was hoping to hear her story.

I haven't heard anyone mention Ray Stevens in a long time, but he was entertaining. Wha t do you think of this guy?
Come to think of it, 'pushwood' sounds kind of dirty itself... depending on how you look at it
. Maybe you two should get together.
The Hypoxis rooperi or African Potato as it is usually called, has been found to be genetically over 300,000 years old. Because it has not been genetically modified or engineered in this millennia, its nutrient values are as high as 50,000 times greater than in modern vegetables.
It is from this plant that the discovery of sterols and sterolins emanates and how their properties boost the human immune system. This is a vital breakthrough because no remedy has ever been found to safely activate the body's T-cells. Today, sterols and sterolins are still the most sought after and preferred immune system booster.
I used to sell this stuff years ago,and have been using the name ever since in various internet accounts. It's pretty cool, because you never get " "this name is not available" messages

Hi
My nickname is Scala is in honor of my city Santarém…
Of the various legends related to the foundation of Santarém, the most famous tells of the Visigoth Saint Iria (or Irene), who was supposedly martyred in Tomar (Nabantia) and whose uncorrupted body reached Santarém. In her honour, the name of the town (then known by its Latin name Scalabis) would later be changed to Sancta Irene, from which Santarém would eventually be derived.
So Scala came from Scalabis…
And whats your story?
