Fitness matters alot, dont get so much connected with chess that you forget about your health, health matters more than Chess. Take good care of your health, make a habit to go bed in time than stucking up with solving chess puzzle, find time to listen music, there is a life beside the 64 squares, don't forget that there is someone to whom you mean alot.

Fitness 1st and last.. Stay fit stay gay...

where did the stay gay part come from?

I think the OP meant to say "blithe."  Or perhaps "merry."

Or perhaps "effervescent", "ebullient" or "lilting"

I enjoy Gay most when she's feeling Mary, um, er, merry.

There are many 60's songs with the word gay:

"Alone Again" (Gilbert O' Sullivan): Alone again, naturally. To think that only yesterday, I was cheerful, bright and gay...

Very queer that anyone should have to explain that.

I remember a group of singers in the 60's from Panama named "The Gay Crooners"...

Then there was the Gay 90's.
