ALLRiiGHT iiAM QUiiTE NEW TO CHESS AND WOULD LiiKE TU KNOW SUM COMMON DO'S AND DONT'S, I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO ASK WAT IS THE (TRUE)SICILIAN DEFENSE IS SINCE THERE IS SO MANY VERIATIONS TO IT, AND THE LAST THING I WOULD LIEK TO ASK IS THAT I AM TERIBLE AT CHECK MATING I JUST CAN'T SEEM TO CHECK MATE SOME ONE AND IF I DO IT INS'T ON PURPOSE IS THERE AND THING I COULD DO TO TRAIN ME T BE BETTER AT CHECKMATING??

I think the "true" Sicilian defense is 1...c5. After that move, yes, there are a lot of variations, but none of them are any more or less of the Sicilian. As for needing help with checkmating. The tactics trainer here is a really good way to learn the different patterns that go into checkmates as well as every other phase of the game.
