What happened????

Is chess.com broken or rigged? I was playing a game and it randomly said double forfeit when I didn't press anything? the game doesn't even show up in my history? whats going on... has anyone had this happen? is this platform broken?

There was a live server restart. When that happens all ongoing games are aborted.

That also can happen if both players are considered abandoned from the game

It just happened to me now. First it said game abandoned; the other player may have abandoned, but I didn't abandon or resign.

Same problem. Road to queen and the "double forfeit" appear..
