draw

hello here is what im trying to convey; after floundering miserably in the less than average 1000-1100, I decided to learn to play more solidly and defensively, and try to have a good enough position in the opening, a safe middlegame and I try to focus on the endgame. the result, I recently was able to break into the 1400. however, this solidity mentality has given me a horrible.habit; I tend to not be able to convert a winning postion such as an extra pawn, a better place piece into a win and the result is a simple draw. I am overly cautious and there are times when I lose eventually due to a blunder. there are times when I agree to a draw, but when I put it into analysis, lo and behold, I had a winning combination! I want to be able to win a technically won game , so please help! sincerely- a kNavish player

Post some examples of positions where you agreed to a draw but later found you had missed a win.
