Draw because of unpossibility been mated or loss by time?

In of my recent live chess games I had such position with black.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In this position I ran off time and, according to this site, lost. Why??

Is it so? Can white checkmate me? Like this?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

But now notice that white queendoesn't take part on episode at all. So, we can put like this

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

But now a question - after we have nothing ecxept a minor piece on a board game in a draw automatically as I know. Why?

if bottom diagram with each side having only one bishop each is automatically draw on this page its a good point as it should cleary not be a draw according to rules
