Draw death in GM chess

There is 70 percentage draw rate in GM chess.

Drawn games seem to be only rising in frequency.

My proposal to solve the problem and to save the competition in chess :

Starting position

reduced chess960 – from 960 positions I choose only 77 starting positions (from the view of white) :

king on the right ,queen on the left – eliminated mirror positions.

all pawn protected.

Bishop and  queen not in a1,h1.

Point system

 3-1-0 to encourage the wins with consequences for elo points

(in the 1-1/2-0 system when players with the same elo points draw ,elo remains unchanged

in the 3-1-0 system when players with the same elo points draw ,both players loose elo points

time control

at the beginning  5 min. for preparing  after choosing starting position before move 1

80 min for the 40 moves(no increment nedeed)

30 min for the rest with increment 30 sec for move starting from the move 41

Draw

Draw by agreement not allowed before time control

After time control draw by agreement only if 10-move rule is fulfilled (10-move rule : There has been no capture or pawn move in the last ten moves by each player.)

After threefold repetition before a time control – repeating a game

After threefold repetition before a time control once again – draw

GM tournaments (with a exclusion candidates tournament)

elo difference between players min. 100 points

Special budget for wins – 20 percent of total budget
