DRAW INSUFFICIENT MATERIAL??????

Hello,

i came across a game and it was drawn cause the material is insufficient. But how cause you can still give checkmate.

Maybe a mistake by the Server.

Black ran out of time. Normally, running out of time would mean a loss, but since white didn't have enough material to checkmate, the result is a draw.

Where you white or black if you were black  maybe you ran out of time but  white did not have enough material to checkmate you unlucky

If black player ran out of time, white cannot win unless that player has enough materiel on board to win. A casual game without time control would be different, barring a stalemate, black would lose. 

The object of the rule is precisely to stop someone winning on time in a clearly un-winable position, (again, only when time controls are in place).
