Dumb Question: Why Is It So Hard to Accept a Challenge?

Twice today I tried to accept a challenge from a friend. Both times I ended up in games with strangers. Both times I bugged out trying to get back to the game I wanted to be in. They really need to fix this. Accepting a challenge should be so easy that my German Shepherd could do it.
