I did beat Duo. It's actually rather easy.

Play a language opening to make it a challenge

It isn't that high. I would say maybe 1700 or 1800.

Play c4 or spanish or italian to make it stronger

It isn't as strong when you don't play a language opening

I'd guess about 1500-1900 I played him twice and got pretty close in the beginning and mid game was about even but he annihilated me in the end game. I'm 550 elo btw but I mostly play against bots between 1100-1400.

I don't know if he is adaptive, but he has two ratings. The regular one, and the language one. The language one being stronger

I beat duo by timeout and he wasn't that good because when I reviewed the game, he had two mistakes, I don't know if chess.com made it so that when I'm losing, he makes a mistake because I was just premoving random pieces
