An interesting question...
I can imagine that some players might recreate famous games for fun, and if two groups of players decide to recreate the same game, then that's a lot of moves.

It would appear that the site is approaching half a billion games,which is quite a lot!. I was wondering if all the games have been stored - Has anyone done study into what is the most moves into a game that have been duplicated in another game?
