Divide your rating, chess.com rapid, uscf, or fide and divide it by 15.

Can it just be one's highest rating?

your current rating

user78003413

My little brother is rated 471. If the formula is correct, I got the number 31.4 Somebody check my math

E4orce

Well, if I'm going by my current Bullet rating, it would be 115.6, and if I went by my current Daily 960 rating, it would be 67.4 lol

E4orce

So, whatever that's worth xD q=)

E4orce

Cuz my Chess.com Bullet rating is ok, at 1734, and my Daily 960 rating is really really horrible, at 1011 lol

user78003413

This proves that GMs have an iq of at least 166.66

So in other words, depending on which one I go by, I'm either the man, the myth. the legend, and the legacy, or I'm a half-wit xD

Really? How's that man? q=)

This makes no sense because according to internet tests my IQ is 130+, the formula it's in the 80s.

(p.s bullet is NOT real chess)

Internet tests are not accurate. This formula is the most accurate

E4orce

I will respectfully agree to disagree with you there, cuz many of the same openings and principles can be found in bullet, as in just about every form of chess there is. But I'm not looking for a fight over it, so I'm not going to say more on that q=)

By the way, Einstein was at 160 so this isn't accurate.

Also, it can't work with people who don't play chess but internet tests are always available.

(apparently Leonardo Da Vinci was at 240)

Then Da vinci should of played chess, he could of beat Alphazero with a rating of 3600

Divide your rating, chess.com rapid, uscf, or fide and divide it by 15.

This means one can have an IQ of 146+ if they're a master in chess.

That's not surprising

E4orce

I find it interesting though, cuz I didn't know that

This means one can have an IQ of 146+ if they're a master in chess.

Which will lead to a global popularity of chess due to the 146+ reputation.

By the way this means Carlsen is smarter than Einstein(190 vs 160).

Which is impossible.
