Is ok but the interface/graphic picture is not very good. Have you ever thought of Chessmaster ; Art of learning or chessmaster 10th ed cheap very good.
electronic chess?

i thought about that, but my comp is filled with virus (339 to be excact) and its really slow and old, so i dont want comp stuff untill it stops sucking, or i get a new one.
ya know?

Don't waste your money on that, play good people, study the game and see what mistakes you made and how to prevent them, and also good moves that person did. Also you should go to a library and get a chess book. Keep up with your tactics trainer and read the game of the week, also do the computer analysis of your games against good players =)

Here are some benefits and drawbacks of the various options:
chess computers: Mine is a few years old, but it doesn't easily allow me to play black. Other than that, it's great.
computer programs: Offer a lot of player styles, take care of the notation, and often include educational material (not just game play)
live play: the most fun, although if you don't have many friends or family to play you may quickly run out of competition.
Just some more points to think about. Hope it helps and have fun!
im thinking of buying this, ima beginner and i thought itd be nice and helpful.
