'En Passant'
Pronounced: AW paSAAN, meaning 'in passing'.
Is a move option that occurs when a pawn is moved 2 squares on its first move, resulting in it being brought alongside as opposing pawn.
Such that the opposing pawn has had the opportunity for capture taken from him (if the pawn had moved only 1 sqaure it could have been captured. But since it moved 2 squares the capture opportunity is gone?)
In that case the opposing pawn may capture as if the pawn had only been moved 1 square (in passing). But the capture must be made at the firt opportunity. If the capture is not made on the player's next turn, it cannot be made ever.
Would somebody please explain the above move
