En passant.

So it's been a while since "en passant" has stopped working for me. I find this EXTREMELY annoying as I if it had worked I wouldn't have lost many games. Please can anybody tell me what's wrong with it?

forget the links.  That's so boring. 

en passant is when one pawn brushes up against another then takes its life and keeps moving forward. 

Think of riding an escalater.  You're going up (or down) and the other is going the opposite...you are looking at each other the whole time then one slight distraction caused you or your opponent to look the other way right?  That's when the en passant occurs. 

It's when you slide your hand so briskly on the other persons, then up the arm as you are going up or down the escalator. 

They are left bewildered, shocked, hairs on the backs of their skin rise, yet are defeated because there is nothing that can be done.
