The review engine so often makes mistakes I’ve played games we’re i do a move and it says it’s a mistake. Then I checkmate them the next go. When I see why the engine told me it was a mistake it shows the moves which led to me forcing checkmate.

Depth of Review is going to be a big factor but please link to an example where a move was marked as mistake (including the move #) but you then actually have a forced mate.
Most likely, the mistake allowed a defense, even if you were still winning, and the checkmate was due to inaccurate play by your opponent.
