you keep saying that and you are right, I don't listen, because the crap you write doesnt make a sound, which is why I read it instead. you thinking bullshit doesn't make it fact. You can easily measure your IQ by shoving a thermometer up your butt.

If the brain is agitated, surely listening is missing. Agitation is an obstacle to listening. Of course IQ is measurable.

But the part that the agitated brain has missed is that intelligence is not quantifiable, hence both IQ and  EQ are misnomers. That means that both don't express intelligence. What then do they express? Skill in thought. That is not intelligence. It cannot ever be measured because it is limitless: how does one measure the unlimited? They can't.

It is a good thing that we don't have censorship as peanut butter is deadly to some.

If it was an actual rectal thermometer then he may not be a virgin anymore, or at least he's gotten as close as he's going to get.

Once again, IQ measures skill in thought. Intelligence ( such as in relationships) cannot be measured.

No quotes. But IQ is not intelligence.

EQ is not measured in numbers like IQ. EQ is simply either 'high'' or ' totally sucks' Most chess players totally suck at EQ. I am not sure if they prefer chess because their EQ is so low or if their EQ is so low because they prefer chess but it is low.

Also, one more outburts from you Troy and there will be consequences, we are trying to discuss something about cats, tootbrushes or thermometers and don't need your off topic comments right now.

Nothing is stopping people from reading philosophy books, but it's a bit arrogant to keep quoting from them and trying to boss people around like its all your own discovery.

Intelligence is either present or not. Reading books is meaningless. Intelligence is a matter of discovery, not of reading philosophy books.

No book can produce intelligence, including the Bible.

Man, howcome can't we post pics from mobile devices anymore? All this writing is really geting to me.

Threatening another is certainly not a measure of intelligence, but of fear. Yet nobody's attacking you.

Avatar of Sitting-Duck

And I did not say anybody is attacking me I said you are boring us with your off topic babble which we don't need. If intelligence is either present or not I am going to go for ' not' in your case. If you have nothing to say about cats or toothbrushes please go read a book.

You don't have to say that somebody is attacking you. Your actions, in this case, words, make it plain: 'there will be consequences'.

Secondly, cats and what not are a distraction from the topic I was addressing, so it's not clear who's off topic.

I have something say about tootbrushes.  Mine got a reprieve last night when I fell asleep before the usual appointment time.  Plato was of the view, and I think Aristotle after him, that you judge something by its purpose which effectively means its use.  Is a toothbrush still a toothbrush when it is not used for the purpose, even when the cause is simple neglect?  (No quotes in all that because neither Plato nor Aristotle brushed their teeth.)

Avatar of Sitting-Duck

It is totally clear who is off topic . Everybody is having a fun, high EQ discussion on cats and toothbrushes and probably some other stuff and then you suddenly introduce a low eq confrontational topic out of the blue stinking up the place.

No one cares what you were addressing 21 pages into a dead discussion if it had nothing to do with cats, just because you change the topic does not mean everybody else is now off topic.
